Happy Oily Thursday!!
We’ve made it to the last part of the workweek. My mom and I are at a scrapbooking crop day at our Creative Memories Consultants house. Everyone, except me, is scrapbooking. Me? I’m working on my calligraphy.
Lemon Vitality Essential Oils
Today I wanted to share a couple of ways of how you can use Young Living’s Lemon Vitality Essential Oil. Though I’ve been using essential oils for over 10 years, I never until I started using Young Living’s ingested them and will never recommend doing so with any other brand. I’ve been ingesting Young Living’s Essential Oils now for over 2 years and I have not had an issue. I have watched videos of top consultants visiting Young Living’s farms, where they have watched them distill the various plants and make the bottles they are put in for purchase, so I know there are no additives in any of them. One of these days I plan on visiting one myself, but who knows when that will be. 🤔
The two things I want to share today are the simplest. First there’s my Lemon water, then there’s my Lemon yogurt. If you’re like me and want to like lemons but don’t like the taste of them, then this is for you!
I LOVE this water bottle. I purchased it from our local Target. I think they’re about $15.00 but if you go when they have them on sale then obviously they’re cheaper. With this water bottle and the most important when it comes to citrus essential oils, it’s glass. Another thing about this water bottle I love, is it’s non-breakable! Of course, there are those exceptions when you have the bottle in your side pocket of your backpack and running through the airport trying to make the flight and it suddenly falls out. Been there, done that.
Falling from a standing still point is no big deal, pick it up and move on, falling from someone who’s running it just shatters into pieces. Luckily, I was heading home and the next day I went to purchase another one. I actually have 2 of these bottles. One’s for my Lemon oil, the other is for Grapefruit, which I’ll talk about more in a future post.
When using this water bottle, I use about 5 drops. Sometimes more drops get in but it just makes the taste a bit stronger and then I can add more water and it get diluted. If you’re using a smaller glass, such as 8 ounces, you really only need 1-2 drops, depending on your liking.
I love yogurt just as much as the next person. These days I tend to get the big tub of yogurt instead of the small individuals. Years ago when my sister lived in France, she would bring me home this add-on stuff they had in different flavors, mine would be cherry flavored, and I use to add it to everything from Coke, yogurt, ice cream floats and much more. Now days, I add my Lemon Oil to just about everything. As said before, my water, but then there’s Lemon Sugar Cookies, Lemon Cake, Lemon Yogurt and much more. **Be sure to visit back for my future posts on the cookies, cakes, and more **
So, for my yogurt, I like the Silk Dairy-Free yogurt but any yogurt plain or vanilla will do. I usually again, put about 5 drops of the Lemon Oil depending on how much yogurt there is in my bowl. If it’s an individual serving size container, I only put 1-2 drops and then if I have more than the recommended serving size out of the tub, I add a couple more drops.
There ya go, two simple ways to incorporate using Lemon Essential Oils into your day. Hope you enjoyed! Now be sure visit my website and make an order with the Lemon Vitality Essential Oil to try these two out. Be sure to leave a comment and let me know how you like it. 😛
