Surgery Day Protocol

Happy Oily Thursday!

So, as you are reading this I am probably already at the hospital and most likely in surgery. After surgery I’ll stay for a couple of hours and then come home. Though I will take any medications my doctor gives me for today and tomorrow, as soon as I’m awake enough I’ll start using my Surgery Day Protocol. During the last few days I have slowly been making various potions and capsules to help get me ready for not having to make them after the fact. Let’s get started…

Surgery Day Protocol

Things Used:

  • Young Living Essential Oils
  • Ortho Ease Massage Oil
  • Empty Vegetable Capsules
  • Empty Roll-ons
  • Slique Slim Caps
  • Ningxia Red
  • Young Living Home Diffuser

Since I wasn’t able to take anything after midnight/this morning before heading to the hospital, as soon as I’m awake I will be drinking my Ningxia Red shot and start taking my Slique Slim Caps again. I stopped taking those the Sunday before Thanksgiving knowing I would stop taking them on Thanksgiving Day along with some of my other since my doctor asked me to stop any herbal supplements. The main ones I stopped (because who can go a week without?) was anything containing Clove and Wintergreen Essential Oil. So in other words, Thieves and Deep Relief.

I’ve posted about these before when my mom fell a few months ago causing a fracture in her lower back. Like I said above, I will take anything my doctor gives me to take after surgery but will start taking these most likely by Saturday. Click here for my post on Extreme Owie Capsules.

Swelling Roll-On:

Instead of the V-6, I used the Ortho Ease

For my ‘Swelling Roll-On’ I used about 15-20 drops of Lemongrass Essential Oil and Panaway Essential Oil. Then I topped the rest up with my Ortho Ease Massage Oil. I will use this in conjunction with my Extreme Owie Capsules.

Since my ‘seasonal issues’ seem to still be super bad, I have made up some capsules to take when I get home from surgery. Click here for my post for “Seasonal Issues.” I will also be using my spray I made about a month ago, as it has truly helped me in so many ways. Click here if you haven’t visited that post yet. Lastly, I also have my Breathe Again for those quick swipes when I’m half asleep not really knowing what I’m doing.

There you go, this will more or less be my surgery day protocol for the day. Hope you enjoyed. If you’re having surgery, get prepared early to have everything ready.
