Beach Ornaments

Make It Monday Once Again!

Hope everyone had a great weekend! I did! Friday night we went to a close by city to see the Christmas Lights and Saturday night we had a Christmas party. Needless to say, I’m exhausted! Truthfully, I almost decided to take a 2 week break and start back up in the new year; but then I was like NAY! I can do this! 🙂 Anyways, this week even though it’s the last week before Christmas, I have mainly beachy things I’m do (go figure huh). Today, I’ve put together some cute Beach Ornaments, so let’s get started…

  • Empty Round Ornaments
  • Beach Sand
  • Sea Shells
  • A Spoon

Step #1:

I picked the sand and sea shells up from Long Beach, MS back when my mom and I were down there back in November for the scrapbook retreat we attended. After seeing the empty ornaments when I ran into Michael’s Craft Store that day, I was like OMG I totally have to make some ornaments with the sand in it. At the time, I wasn’t sure when I was going to be back down so I figured, why not!

Using my handy-dandy spoon, I carefully scooped some out of my jar into my empty ornament. For each one I placed just a couple of my sea shells I had in my jar. Once I have my own apartment again, I’ll have them up on my Christmas Tree of course. Most likely, I’ll place them on my mantle or somewhere within just to have them on display.
