Butterflies and Dragonflies…

It’s Write It Wednesday again!!

Hope everyone has a GREAT day!!

Butterflies and Dragonflies...Growing up I have always loved bugs! I have a butterfly net I got when I was 4 or 5 years old and would catch everything from butterflies to wasps to bumble bees to dragonflies. I just love them and find them fascinating just like with dolphins and marine mammals.

While my mom was working on her Masters in Education degree, during the summer breaks of my middle school years, I went to a Science Day Camp. I loved it! We went out in the field at the college campus catching anything and everything we could possibly catch. Continue reading “Butterflies and Dragonflies…”

Wyland’s Dolphins

It’s Write It Wednesday once again!

Hope everyone had an awesome day!  It’s been a long one for me and my mom.  Yesterday we dropped her car off at the dealership for a routine oil change and for a few other issues the brand new car (November 2015) shouldn’t be having.

Today, mom got a call saying they had bad news.  First thing I thought was they were gonna have to order a part… Nope!  They were finished fixing whatever it was and about finished washing it when the person driving it didn’t put it in park when they got out of it and it went bye-bye hitting something causing apparently quite a bit damage.

Any-who, they are bringing her a rental in the morning until they get it fixed and repainted.  Needless to say, she’s not happy.  Along with that my air condition in my car hasn’t been blowing cold (60*F) air out like it should be, instead its blowing out hot air 🙁 Apparently, it’s just low on freon so I’m dropping it off in the morning to get that fixed.

So, today’s Write It Wednesday is on Robert Wyland.  Continue reading “Wyland’s Dolphins”

Birthday Week Continues

Write It Wednesday!

Since I’m celebrating my birthday all week, I thought I would make my first “Write It Wednesday” post based on the week so far…Starting on Father’s Day, almost every year this happens, the three or four (depending on if my sis is home) we go out to eat and then have one cake to celebrate Father’s Day and my Birthday. This year we got the cake from Cold Stone Creamery and it was AWESOME! I actually think it was better than Baskin Robbins, which is where we usually get our cakes from since we have a location across the street from our neighborhood. Let’s get started with “Birthday Week Continues…” Continue reading “Birthday Week Continues”
