Wow! Can’t believe it’s the end of May! Thought this month would NEVER END! Anyways, I need y’all’s opinion on this post. When I first started this blog, I spend several weeks trying to come up with a logo. Eventually, I gave up and decided to use what I wrote in the sand in Long Beach, MS. However, I think (and hope) I have finally come up with the perfect something else. Let’s gets started with “Crafty JBird’s Logo…”
Things Used:
- Canson Marker Paper
- Tombow Dual Brush Pens
- Sketch Pencil
- Photoshop Elements 13
- Sharpie Ultra Fine Point

Step #1:
After drawing a good 200 or more ‘birds,’ I finally got what I think came out just right. So, using my sketch pencil, I managed to get this one. Using Photoshop Elements, I used the tool in the Photos Effects under the Guided tab to enhance the pencil sketch so it would show up better.
Step #2:
Next, I used my Tombow Dual Brush Pen number N15 to trace over my pencil sketch outline so I would be able to see it better as with most all my other drawings.
Step #3:
Finally, with my black outline under a new sheet of my Canson Marker Paper, I used my Bright Pink Ultra Fine Point Sharpie Pen to draw the body of my Bird. Then used my Purple Ultra Fine Point Sharpie Pen to add the feet and top feathers. From there, I used my Tombow Dual Brush Pen number 879 to draw my branch and my two Green Ultra Fine Point Sharpie Pens to make my leaves at the end of my branch. I also used my Tombow Dual Brush Pen number N15 to fill in the eye of my bird.
Step #4:
Finally, going down the back of my birdie, I carefully used my Blue Ultra Fine Point Sharpie Pen to calligraphy out “Crafty JBird.”
There you go! “Crafty JBird’s Logo.” I create one to go the other way too so depending on the photo, it can face inward. Hope you enjoyed! Please let me know what you think. Depending on results, I’ll start using my new “Crafty JBird’s Logo” in a week or two.
