Fall Scents

Oily Thursday and Beginning of my Long Awesome Weekend!

We’ve made it to Thursday! Only one more day til the actual weekend. For me, the weekend has started. I’m at my scrapbooking retreat after picking my mom up in Dallas yesterday since she’s been over there for almost two weeks with my sister. They get to play while I get to blog, help dad around the house, and take care of the bird, dog, and my Grace. Anyways, did you know diffusing essential oils don’t always have to be just for the benefits they bring? You can also mix various ones for great awesome smells. Today, I wanna share with you some of my favorite combinations for Fall Scents.

Fall Scents

Pumpkin Spice:

So I know EVERYONE seems to be on the Pumpkin Spice kick. As far as drinks go, Starbucks has them, Panera Bread, McDonald’s, the list goes on. They even have the drink available for the Keurig® Machine. If you’re like me and just like the smell you can use your diffuser and diffuse the following Young Living Essential Oils for this favorite Fall Scent.

  • 3 drops of Clove YL Essential Oil
  • 2 drops of Nutmeg YL Essential Oil
  • 2 drops of Orange YL Essential Oil
  • 1 drop of Ginger YL Essential Oil

Pumpkin Pie:

If you’re like one of my cousin who loves pumpkin pie everything, you are going to love this combination. Diffusing this combination in the kitchen when you have company coming over make it smells absolutely wonderful! Of course you can diffuse it anytime whether you have company or not. The combination includes:

  • 1 drop of Clove YL Essential Oil
  • 1 drop of Nutmeg YL Essential Oil
  • 5 drops of Cinnamon YL Essential Oil

Though this combination calls for Cinnamon, I only have Cinnamon Bark and have been using it. The only difference between the two is how strong the scent is. So instead of 5 drops I only use 3 drops.

Snickerdoodles:

Every year around this time my mom starts making these yummy cookies. The only problem is they are so good, I love them, my stomach and weight not so much. ? So if this is you or just love the smell you will love this combination also. This combination includes the following essential oils.

  • 5 drops of Stress Away YL Essential Oil

Again, I use Cinnamon Bark instead of Cinnamon and it smell awesome!

Falling Leaves:

Last on my list for my favorite Fall Scents, Falling Leaves. Who doesn’t love the smell of falling leaves? Or rather who lives somewhere who wishes they actually knew what the smell smelled like more often? This combination includes the following Young Living essential oils.
