Happy Make It Monday Y’all!
Hope everyone had a great awesome weekend! I did, of course I was also down on the Mississippi Gulf Coast which meant I was at the beach! Definitely cannot wait for the day I get to move back down. Hopefully sooner rather than later! Anywho, despite my hip hurting like crazy I have decided, mainly because I ate a lot during my time at the beach, I need to start my workouts again so I thought I would make a ‘Fitness Motivation Board.’ Let’s get started!… (Don’t worry I’ve made it super cute and super easy!)
Fitness Motivation Board
Things Used:
- Scissors
- Paper Trimmer
- Velum Paper
- Twine Rope
- 4 12 by 12 Cork boards
- Whale Fabric
- Push Pins
- Anchor Charms
- Anchor Ribbon
- Tombow Dual Brush Pens
- Sharpie Fine Tip Pens
- Black and Decker Laser
- Weekly Desktop Calendar
Step #1:
After deciding which fabric I wanted to use, I cut four pieces giving me enough to wrap around the cork board pieces, which was about 14 by 14. As you can see, I used the push pins to keep the fabric in place. During this will allow, if wanted to change out the fabric later to a different pattern and knowing me, I like to change things out when allowed.
Step #2:
Once my fabric was attached to each piece of cork board, I cut two pieces of my Anchor Ribbon. Then I used some twine, push pins and charms to attach the ribbon to the first cork board. Next, I wrote out using one of my Tombow Dual Brush Pens, “Pounds to Lose.”
Step #3:
Finally, for the first board, I used some small Anchor charms and push pins to add attach the “Pounds to Lose” saying. Once that was done, I put about 15 mini clothes pins on the top piece of Anchor Ribbon. For every pound I lose I’ll move a clothes pin to the bottom piece of ribbon.
Step #4:
For the next cork board, I added a weekly calendar page, where I will change them out weekly (every Sunday) with my workout plan.
Step #5:
For the third and fourth piece of cork board, I used one of my favorite fitness sayings I found on Pinterest. The website on the bottom is thenewnewyou.tumbler.com. I’ve had this printed out for a while now which is why I decided to use it for this project. I used several different colors of my Tombow Dual Brush Pens and Sharpie Fine Tip Pens. It says, “It takes 4 weeks for You to see your body changing, It takes 8 weeks for your Friends and Family, It takes 12 weeks for the Rest of the World. Keep Going.”
Step #5:
For the final step, I added one of my favorite pictures of myself and stuck it under the “Keep Going” velum piece.
And there you go, a super cute, super easy fitness motivation board. Now, let’s see yours!
