Great Night Sleep Potion

It’s Oily Thursday!!

Hope everyone has a great day!! 🙂  Today I want to talk about my “great night sleep potion.”  I know I touched on it a little in the previous posts but I wanted to elaborate a little bit more.  Yes, I use the obvious Lavender Oil, and like I’ve mentioned previously, I use Lemon Oil and Thieves Oil.  I also, however; add into my roller and diffuser sometimes these days Valor Oil, Lemongrass Oil, and Cedarwood Oil.

Great Night Sleep Potion

Young Living’s Valor Essential Oil

Great Night Sleep Potion -- Visit CraftyJBird.com for more info!Valor Essential Oil can help with alignment and back pain after a hard days at work whether you at work at a computer all day or work on your feet all day.  It also helps with jaw issues.  If you’re like me, I don’t much chew gum anymore because my jaw pops so much.  Every time I visit the dentist, I apply Valor to help with the pain there too, mainly because back in 2007 my jaw completely locked on my so badly they had to send me to an oral surgeon so they could put me to sleep and put it back in place. :/

Cedarwood Essential Oil

Great Night Sleep Potion -- Visit CraftyJBird.com for more info!Cedarwood Essential Oil is great to help with sleeping, concentration issues, hair growth, and many more.  I don’t only use it for sleep, I also use it for these other things of which I will talk about in future posts — so be sure to check back. 😛

Lemongrass Essential Oil

Great Night Sleep Potion -- Visit CraftyJBird.com for more info!I use Young Living’s Lemongrass Essential Oil mainly for swollen areas but its has several different uses it can help with of which again, I will talk about in future posts.  As previously stated, I used Lemongrass Oil on my hip after my surgery I had last year (be sure to check last weeks post for more information on that subject).  I add it to my Great Night Sleep Potion roller to help any swollen areas on my bodies from the days work.  Sometimes its my ankles and some days, if I’ve moved around too much, its my hip area.  It just really depends on what my body ‘feels like’ that day.

Putting It Together

To make my ‘potion’ I use a 10ml roller where I add between 10 and 15 drops each of Lavender, Lemon, Thieves, Cedarwood, Valor and Lemongrass and top it off with my V-6 carrier oil.  For more information on Young Living’s V-6 carrier oil visit my post about “Seasonal Issues.”  Be sure also to visit my Young Living personal website for more information on these oils and more.

**As with anything, over the counter medicines and/or prescription, a specific essential oil may work great for me but not so much for you. These are recommendations, as it is a trial and error type process to find what works best for you.**

Thanks for visiting.  Hope to see you back here again.  If you have any questions or comments feel free to contact me and I will try to answer as quickly as possible.

Thank you!!
