It’s Write It Wednesday Once Again!
Hope everyone is having a great week so far. Me? I’ve been trying to study for a test I am getting ready to take in a week or so. Anyways, today I wanted to share a new way I have discovered to write out things. I thought it would be perfect since Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. Let’s get started with “Happy V-Day…”
Things Used:
- Molotow Masking Liquid
- Canson Watercolor Paper
- Waterbrush
- Ecoline Watercolors
- Paint Palette
- Tombow Eraser
- Paper Towels
Step #1:
After getting my Ecoline Watercolors ready in my paint palette, I drew my heart out with my Molotow Masking Liquid Pen.
Step #2:
Next, I wrote out “Happy V-Day” in my heart. As you can see, I wrote it out also with my Molotow Masking Liquid Pen.
Step #3:
Once I had those two things finished with my Molotow Masking Liquid Pen, I started with my Ecoline Watercolors. Here, I dropped a few drops onto my Canson Watercolor Paper.
Step #4:
Before I went on to the next step, I needed to let the Molotow Masking Liquid dry some.
Step #5:
Once I thought it was dry enough, I started to ‘take’ the Molotow Masking Liquid away from the paper. To do this, I carefully just used my finger to rub it off.
Step #6:
Unfortunately, I managed not to let it dry long enough. As you can see, the outside portion came off easily, but once I started taking the letters off, it wasn’t quite dry enough. As a result, this caused the watercolor itself to start coming off the paper also.
Here is a final product of another one I did that was completely dry.

There you go. A different cute way to create your letters. Hope you enjoyed!
