Hello “Write It Wednesday!”
We’ve made it to Wednesday and the first day of March 2017. Today I am continuing my “St. Patty’s 4-Leaf Clover” project but I’ve named it “Hearts of Luck.” If you have yet to read my post from “Make It Monday,” go ahead and head over there now. I’ll wait.. Alright, let’s get started…
Things Used:
- Canson Watercolor pad
- “St. Patty’s 4-Leaf Clover” final product
- Scissors
- Dr. Ph. Martin Watercolors
- Water bushes
- Photoshop Elements
- Molotow Masking Liquid Pen
Step #1:
The first thing I did to get this project started was cut my “St. Patty’s 4-Leaf Clover” final product out.
Step #2:
Next, I decided to use my Molotow Masking Liquid Pen and outline my 4-leaf clover.
Step #3:
Once I finished outlining my 4-leaf clover, I then added my watercolors to my palette. Originally I thought I would use the Black and White Watercolors for something on this project but I didn’t end up using them.
Step #4:
Using my Green Watercolor and thick water brush, I painted inside my outline.
Step #5:
While I let my 4-leaf clover dry, I used my thin water brush to write out “Hearts of Luck” on another piece of Canson Watercolor paper using my pinkish watercolor by Dr. Ph. Martin.
Step #6:
After my 4-leaf clover dried, I removed the Molotow Masking. I set my Fitbit Blaze timer for 25 minutes but I’m sure it was dry before it went off. I just wanted to be sure it was nice and dry before continuing.
Step #7:
Using Photoshop Elements, I ‘erased’ around my painted 4-leaf clover and my “Hearts of Luck” calligraphy. Then I layered “Hearts of Luck” on top of my 4-leaf clover.
There you go, “Hearts of Luck.” Hope you enjoyed! Now it’s your turn to try it out. Be sure to share your projects!
