How I Doubled My Juicing Content in Less Time

We’ve made it to the third week of October with only a couple more weeks to go before it’s time to play dress up for Halloween. Anyways, for my birthday my sister got me a new juicer since I had been using mine so much it wasn’t working as well as it did when I first got it. Not only is my new one a better name brand, but it also allows me to make my juices easier, faster, and so much more at once than with my first one. So, let’s get started with my “How I Doubled My Juicing Content in Less Time…”

Click here if you want to read about my first juicer I purchased thanks to my best friend. Though I still have it and plan on keeping it here at my parent’s house when I move to Dallas, I absolutely LOVE my new one. Like I said above, I can make more at one time without it taking what feels like half the day. (Keep in mind the layout of the post, it was only my second post when I started CraftyJBird)

Hamilton Beach Juicer:

Back in 2015 when I purchased my first juicer, I felt like a juicing machine. I spent a long time chopping the various fruits and veggies up so they would fit. Grant it, I probably didn’t have to chop as much as I did looking back, but now all I have to do now is wash my fruits and veggies.

Alright so, yes, this juicer is a little bigger and takes up a little more space than my other one, but it is more than worth it. Like I said above, all I really have to do now is wash my fruits and veggies, and I’m ready to get juicing.

I see a lot of recipes telling which order to put everything in, but I just put whatever whenever to fit as much as I can (without overstuffing). To make enough to fill my Teavana Pitcher, it only took seven ‘spins’ total before running out of my fruits and veggies.

With my Hamilton Beach Juicer, it would have taken triple or even four times as many ‘spins’ to fill my Teavana Pitcher. Which in turn meant a lot longer of running my patients for juicing.

How many pitchers full does it take?

Here, I have where I’m showing the first few sets of fruits and veggies. You can tell since it has a tint of orange and yellow to it from the carrots and apples.

For the last sets of my  fruits and veggies, the color came to be green thanks to the kale, cucumbers, and celery.

If you are thinking of getting a juicing to try it out, go to Target and look in their clearance section for the Hamiton Beach Juicers; it’s a great beginners juicer. However, if you are like me and love juicing but don’t have the patients or time to continue making throughout the day or everyday; spend the extra money to get a better one such as this Breville Juicer.
