It’s Make It Monday!!!
Hope everyone had a great weekend! All I did was study, study, and study more. I also finally scheduled my test I will be taking soon. With that said, I may miss a few days since I really have to concentrate more on studying for this test than anything else. Hopefully I won’t, but you just never know. Anyways, did y’all know it is National Craft Month? Well, it is. Since I have been scrapbooking most of my life I decided I would do something based on scrapbooking. Let’s get started…
Things Used:
- Tombow Dual
- Canson Marker Paper
- Tombow Eraser
- Fine Tip Sharpie Pens
- Ruler
- Professional Moo Eraser
- Mosaic Moments Grid Page Planner
Step #1:
The first thing I did was make an outline of a scrapbook. To do this I placed Mosaic Moments Grid Page Planner under my Canson Marker paper to get an idea of size. Using my pencil and ruler, I drew basically a rectangle. Then I added a few squiggly lines to look like pages on either side of the scrapbook.
Once finished getting it the way I wanted, I traced over my outline with my Tombow Fudenosuke Hard Tip pen. Using my Tombow Fudenosuke Twin Tip pen I went over the squiggly lines as well as the two middle lines. I then used my Professional Moo Eraser to get rid of my pencil lines.
Step #2:
In order to give it a scrapbook look, I continued using my Mosaic Moments Grid Page Planner. I used the top layout I made based on my “Best Friends Forever” layout I did back in November 2016. Here, I used my Yellow Fine Tip Sharpie Pen to trace the blocks I had shaded in yellow on my page planner.
Step #3:
Here, I used my Blue Fine Tip Sharpie pen to trace the blocks I had shaded in blue on my page planner.
Step #4:
Next, I used my Dark Pink Fine Tip Sharpie Pen to trace over the dark pink blocks.

Step #5:
Finally, I used my Medium Pink Fine Tip Sharpie Pen to trace over the blocks.
Step #6:
To give the double page layout, I went back and shaded each block in based on the outlined color.
Step #7:
In the attempt to make my drawing more realistic of my scrapbook layout based on my “Best Friends Forever” Page Planner, I went back using my Light Pink Fine Tip Sharpie pen to fill in the spaces between all the blocks. I also used it to add the rest of the ‘page’ on each side. (Hope that makes sense.)
There you go. A drawing for National Craft Month. Be sue to check back on “Write It Wednesday” to see what I do to finish out my drawing. I think you’re gonna love it!
