Well, it’s Thursday once again! Who’s ready for the weekend?! I know two people in the Big D who are NOT and frankly neither am I because of basically the same thing. Of course, I’m also not due to still having a tons to study and feel like I haven’t gotten anything done this week or month for that matter. Anyways, a few weeks ago I did a series with some of my favorite blends and one of them was my “Great Night Sleep” blend only since my original blend I had added a few so I thought I would give the recipe for my “New Great Night Sleep Blend” today. Let’s get started….

New Great Night Sleep Blend:
There are several different ways I use my “New Great Night Sleep Blend” due to various reasons. When I’m at home, I use my Rainstone Diffuser and my roller mix. In my previous version, I was using Valor, Cedarwood, Lavender, Thieves, Lemon and Lemongrass. These days I have taken Lemon out completely for sleeping, and have my Lemongrass added to different roller for the nights I need it.
In addition to my previous version I have added Patchouli, RC, Raven, Aroma Siez, Aromaease, Copaiba, Stress Away, and Peace & Calming. Since I have talked about all these Essential Oils in previous posts I have provided the links for each instead of repeating.
Roller Version:
For my roller version of my “New Great Night Sleep Blend,” Thieves, Cedarwood, Lavender, Valor (original or II), RC, Patchouli, Copaiba, Aroma Siez, AromaEase, and Raven Essential Oils. For the Essential Oils I have talked about in previous posts I have provided those links. As for the rest continue reading for additional information. My recipe is as follows:
- Thieves – 20 drops
- Cedarwood – 15 drops
- Lavender – 15 drops
- Valor – 10 drops
- RC – 10 drops
- Patchouli – 10 drops
- Copaiba – 10 drops
- AromaEase – 5 drops
- Aroma Siez – 5 drops
- Raven – 3 drops
Once I have finished adding everything I top it off with Young Living’s OrthoEase Blend. For various reasons when I’m at my sisters place, this is my only option as for the time being I’m not allowed to use my diffuser I keep packed in my overnight bag.
AromaEase according to Young Living’s website, “has a cool, minty aroma and contains powerful essential oil constituents that contribute to a calming aroma.” It’s a blend of Peppermint, Spearmint, Ginger, Cardomom, and Fennel. Aroma Siez according to Young Living’s website, “combines the soothing and relaxing properties of Lavender and Peppermint.” It is made up of Basil, Marjoram, Lavender, Peppermint, and Cypress. Patchouli according to Young Living’s website, “has a powerful, musky scent” and is great to “use its calming, relaxing aroma during meditation or yoga practice.
Diffuser Version:
When I’m home and depending on if they get packed for whatever trip I may be going on (other than my sisters), I add Peace & Calming and Stress Away to my Rainstone Diffuser. Mainly because I have to be sure I sleep really well the nights I’m home since for the last several months I haven’t been sleeping much and especially for the last month I haven’t been home much due to various events.
There you go! My “New Great Night Sleep Blend.” Hope you enjoyed and give it a try! Continue reading to find out where and how to get these Young Living Essential Oils and more!
