Oily Gift Basket

It’s Thursday y’all!! Hope everyone is safe from all these storms going on throughout the US. Since it rained a lot yesterday; we had to backwash the pool FIVE times! The last time I decided to let a little more than normal out since the electricity had just decided to flicker some. Anyways, while I’m waiting for some bottles of oils to arrive I thought I would share the “Oily Gift Basket” I made up for the teacher I observed last week as a Thank you. So, let’s get started with “Oily Gift Basket…”

To put my “Oily Gift Basket” together I used the Gift Tissue to fill the bottom of my Mini Bucket. Then, I used my DecoColor White Paint Marker to calligraphy the teacher’s name I observed on a Chalkboard Label and carefully stuck it on my basket. I purchased the Mini Bucket, Gift Tissue, and Chalkboard Labels from Hobby Lobby. The mini roll-ons and oily labels I purchased off of Amazon.com and the rest of the items I already had on hand purchased from various other places. For the Young Living Products, my link can be located at the bottom.

To start making my “Oily Gift Basket,” I created three roll-ons. My first roll-on, “Study/Concentration” is one I have shared in a previous post. The second mini roll-on, Stress Away, is just as the big Stress Away Roll-On by Young Living. It contains about 15 drops of Stress Away Essential Oil and then topped off with NOW Vegetable Glycerine as the carrier. For my last mini roll-on, “Stay Well,” I created for not only the teacher I observed last week but also one for myself the week before leaving so it could help me “Stay Well” during my visit. Of course, I have both of these oils, ImmuPower, and Thieves in my “Great Night Sleep” blend but I wanted something I could put on in the mornings as well as throughout the day.

Each of these mini roll-ons I topped off with NOW Vegetable Glycerine as the carrier oil. Continue reading to find out why….

I purchased these off of Amazon.com, and so far I love them. As you can see, I created two labels for the mini roll-ons. Before leaving for my observation, I posted on a Facebook group I’m apart of asking for ideas of what to put in a basket. One of the ladies reminded me about allergies anyone could have such as peanuts. So, I made two sets of roll-ons just in case. Using my Blue Fine Tip Sharpie Pen, I carefully made each label.

Thieves Cough Drops:

The first time I tried these I did not like them whatsoever! I had to spit it out! Now, I love ’em! For the “Oily Gift Basket,” I added about six of these for her to give them a try.

Stress Away Bath Bombs:

When I originally purchased these, I got them for my sister, but then I decided to give them a try myself. Unfortunately, I still haven’t had the chance. However, I did add one to my “Oily Gift Basket” and am in high hopes of trying one soon.

Thieves Spray:

Everyone should have a bottle of this stuff and never run out! I keep one in my purse and ‘carry-all’ bag so I can be sure I always have some with me. I use this spray for things such as when I have to use a public restroom, a restaurant to wipe down the table, and as my hand sanitizer.
