Oily Scanner

Hello Oily Thursday!!

One more day and we are home free for the weekend!! For those in the path of Hurricane Matthew, stay safe! So, today I wanted to share an awesome device I just got in on Monday. I’m super excited about this and hope to boost my oily business with it. The device is an “oily scanner” named “iTOVi.”

Let’s get started…

Oily Scanner

What is the Oily Scan “iTOVi”?:

Oily Scanner -- Visit CraftyJBird.com for more infoAccording to iTOVi’s website, this oily scanner is “a pocket-sized tool [that] will help you understand what products your body wants [by] [u]sing proven scientific technology and a patented algorithm.” It “takes the guesswork out of the growing world of essential oils and supplements.”

How It Works:

Oily Scanner -- Visit CraftyJBird.com for more infoUnlike the other scanner I have had done before; this oily scanner has an app that is download to mobile devices such as an iPhone 6 Plus (what I have). Then the client simply hold the device in their hand and let’s it do its thing. It is completely safe for all ages including pregnant and “people with heart issues.”

While the oily scanner is doing its thing, you get to watch a short video explaining what it is doing. The oily scanner is “the only wellness tool currently interpreting over 270 biopoints across the body. This extensive body composition analysis allows the iTOVi scanner to understand your body’s data more completely.”

Breakdown of the Technology Used:

Electrical Frequency

All living and non-living things have a “unique energy signature that vibrates at certain frequencies.” This frequency is an oscillation, where it’s based on “the number of times a wave repeats itself within a second.” Using the electrodes, a “measurable response from the body” is made using “these frequencies [that] are sent to the body.”

Bioimpedance

A total of 273 biopoints are scanned as “small electrical currents [are] passe[d] through the skin to measure the skins resistance.” “Each biopoint and supplement has a natural energy frequency, which is easily recognized by the body.”

The body’s response

As explained above, this bioimpedance “relies on the body’s autonomic nervous system in order to elicit reactions.” Though there are several ways to measure such as body temperature, blood pressure, etc.; this “particular way […] measure[s] the reaction [as] the tissue […] become[s] more or less resistant to electrical current flow.”

Algorithm

Like with most electronic devices, this devices also uses what is called and algorithm, which “is simply a set of mathematical equations.” This algorithm is ran multiple times while determining a “body’s true response.”

Report

At the end of a scan you will be introduced to your “unresolved”biopoints” along with a recommendation of oils and/or supplements “to which your body had the best reactionary response.” To help bring “your body and its frequencies back to its optimal state, you simply make an order and start using the recommended oils right away. It is recommended to get re-scanned roughly 30-45 days which is also 4-6 weeks.

My Results:

Oily Scanner -- Visit CraftyJBird.com for more info Oily Scanner -- Visit CraftyJBird.com for more info Oily Scanner -- Visit CraftyJBird.com for more infoSince I was so excited about getting this device in, I actually ended up scanning myself three times. Above is just screen shots of my first scan. Luckily for me, I actually have several of the oils it recommended, just haven’t exactly used them since getting them in. My recommendations for the first scan included: Eucalyptus Blue, Exodus II, and Egyptian Gold. The second recommendation was Present Time, Raven, and Panaway. Finally, my third and last one because I made myself put it away ? included NingXia NITRO, EndoFlex, and Cinnamon Bark.

First Scan:

Eucalyptus Blue:

According to the iTOVi app used, Eucalyptus Blue “has a calming and invigorating scent when diffused” and you can only diffuse or use topically with a carrier oil.

Exodus II:

This essential oil contains a mix “that has cleansing properties, particularly when applied to the feet. It is used either by diffusing, inhaled directly, or topically with a carrier oil.

Egyptian Gold:

“[U]sed to enhance moments of devotion and reverence;” Egyptian Gold, “contains ancient biblical oils” and is used for “spiritual awareness and immune support.” It is used also by either diffusing, inhaling directly, or with a carrier oil topically.

Second Scan:

Present Time:

Present Time essential oil, is used by either diffusing, inhaled directly, or topically. It is known for “help[ing] [one] focus on the here and now, so [one] can get beyond the past and move forward. So basically it’s used for “empowerment” and “emotional release.”

Raven:

This one is also a “cleansing blend” containing but not limited to “Ravintsara, Peppermint, and Eucalyptus Radiata” Essential Oils. It “creates a cooling sensation when applied topically to the chest and throat.” Other ways besides topically of using it is by either direct inhale or diffusing.

Panaway:

One of my favorite essential oils nowadays, is great for anytime such as when you’ve been working hard in the yard, on your feet all day and feeling it in other places, or if you’re like me and get Charlie Horses; or rather I don’t get them so much anymore since using essential oils. Be sure to go back and read my post on “Charlie Horses” if you haven’t done so yet.

Final Scan:

NingXia NITRO:

Though I have used this, as I have shown in previous posts, I am not at the moment. I have to find the box I know I have it as it has ‘disappeared’ on me. However, this stuff is great when taken; as it “supports cognitive alertness and fitness. [It’s] a great support for the body and mind.” It has the ability to “increase athletic performance, endurance, and recovery” with it’s “mix of naturally occurring caffeine and Bioenergy’s D-Ribose.

EndoFlex:

Ironically, I actually have this essential oil and was one of my first ones after my initial starter kit. With it’s “blend of Spearmint, Geranium,” and several others; it “helps create a calming and balancing aroma when diffused. Not only can it be diffused though, it can also be directly inhaled or diluted with a carrier oil and applied topically.

Cinnamon Bark:

I guess since I haven’t actually used this one since last year for my Fall Scents (read last weeks post if you haven’t yet), the oily scanner picked up that my body needs it so to speak. With it’s “hot and spicy fragrance” it can help “unlock feelings of abundance.” Cinnamon Bark can be diffused, inhaled directly, or topically with a carrier oil.

Out of all these recommendations from my three scans, I actually have six of them. Once I gather them all up out of my storage unit I plan to start using them so in 30-45 days I can re-scan myself and see what it says. As for the ones I don’t have yet, I plan on using my Reward Points to purchase them.

There you go, an awesome device that can recommend which essential oils to purchase. Whether you’re just not sure because there are so many or you have some but not sure what to get next not wanting to spend the extra money on something you may or may not need. Hope you enjoyed!
