It’s Write It Wednesday and I’ve got a Treat for You!
So, this weekend, starting tomorrow actually, I’m going to a scrapbooking retreat through Sunday. We attend this retreat twice a year and it’s tons of fun! Since I’ve moved home from MS, I haven’t missed a single time. Mainly for the fun but also because well.. they need me! ?? Since I’m the youngest one there, I’m the everything about electronics person. Anyways, I’ve put together a Retreat Treats for everyone and had fun creating my creation.
Retreat Treats
Things Used:
- Orange Cardstock
- Silver Embossing Powder
- Embossing Pen
- Heat Gun
- Tag Punch
- Goodie Bags
- Ribbon
- Candy
- Catch all for the embossing powder (optional)
So I wanted to make something cute for the ladies at the retreat and this is what I decided on to do. After adding a little bit of candy to each goodie bag for them, I added a handmade tag. Here’s how I did them.
Step #1:
Using my tag punch, I punched out 30 tags in my orange cardstock.
Step #2:
Carefully on each tag I used my black embossing pen I drew a pumpkin.
Step #3:
Finally, I added my silver embossing powder to each one as I made them (about 5-6 at a time) and used my heat gun to set the powder.

Goodie Bags:
For the goodie bags, after putting the candy in all the bags, I used some ribbon and tied a tag around each bag.
There you go, a different way to give out goodie bags for wherever you give them out. Hope to see your goodie bags. Comment below with what you made!
