Seasonal Issues Spray

Howdy Oily Thursday!!

Hope everyone is having an awesome week and start of November so far! I am having a great week now that I have made it back down to the beach. Though we will only be here for a few days, I am taking it all in and looking for myself a place to move back down. 🙂 So last week, I visit a friend and she was telling me, after running into Walgreens and getting more Afrin Nose Spray, how she has gone through the stuff like crazy due to be so stuffy. So, I decided I would make a Seasonal Issues Spray. Let’s get started…

Seasonal Issues Spray

Things Needed:

  • Empty nasal spray bottle
  • YL EO
  • Distilled Water
  • Himalayan salt
  • Pipette
  • Small cup

Step #1:

Just for the heck of it and to be sure, I ran my newly brought spray bottles through the dishwasher. I purchased the spray bottles off Amazon.com. I purchased the himalayan salt and distilled water from Walmart.

Step #2:

After doing some research, I decided I would use four YL Essential Oils. I found there to be about nine total to be safe for these type of sprays but there could be more, as this is just on my hour worth of research.

Seasonal Issues Spray -- Visit CraftyJBird.com for more info...Once my spray bottles were dry and good to go for use, I used a small cup to grind the salt and then added about a pinch of himalayan salt to my bottle. Then I added my essential oils and allowed the salt to dissolve.

Seasonal Issues Spray -- Visit CraftyJBird.com for more info...After my salt was dissolved I added some distilled water using a pipette since the gallon of distilled water was too big for me to just pour it right into my tiny spray bottle.
