Happy Scrap It Friday!

Once again it’s “Scrap It Friday!!” Yep, I know it’s not officially Spring yet; but here in North Louisiana it sure did feel like it was Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. I mean I did have a tank top and flip flops on as well as my windows down, and sunroof opened in my car. Yesterday, on the other hand, was quite cold. Finally Scrap It Friday!

We’ve made it through yet another week. Everything in the last few weeks have happened so quickly, it’s crazy. Today I wanted to show off a double page layout I did a few years ago at a scrapbook retreat with some pictures I took at the Mardi Gras parade in New Orleans, LA we went to in 2004. Texas State Aquarium

It’s Scrap It Friday Y’all!!

So, as most of y’all return visitors know, I love dolphins and have since I was younger. Due to the events that have happened in just the last week I decided I would share this double page from the Texas State Aquarium I put together seven to eight years ago. I’m quite certain that if it wasn’t for  my love of dolphins and marine mammals my family would not have visit all of the aquariums and zoo they have over the years. I love this double page because I am on the floor of the aquarium and one of the dolphins happened to come right up next to the glass to ‘sit’ with me. Finally Scrap It Friday!!

How did everyone’s first week of the year go as far as resolutions go? Me? It took me a couple days to break old habits but I think I’ve finally got it down. Hopefully the weekend won’t mess everything up since I think it’s always harder on the weekend. Anyways, I thought since it’s only the first week of January I would do one more Christmassy double page kit.
