This all-purpose cleaner can be used on any surface in your home for dusting, spot cleaning, scrubbing, or any other cleaning need. Wherever you use it, you’ll feel good knowing it’s safe to use around everyone in your family, including pets. Spot test in an inconspicuous area before applying this product to woods, plastics, fabrics, and granite. If staining or damage occurs, discontinue use on the material.”

How-To Use:

Some of the ways Young Living suggests for usage includes:

  • “All-purpose cleaner: Combine 1 capful Thieves Household Cleaner and 2–3 cups water.
  • Degreaser: Combine 1 capful Thieves Household Cleaner and 2 cups water. For heavy cleaning, use half or quarter the amount of water. If necessary, use a cloth to apply Thieves Household Cleaner undiluted. After cleaning, wipe the area with a cloth dampened with water.
  • Glass and mirror cleaner: Combine 1 capful Thieves Household Cleaner, 5 drops Citrus Fresh™ essential oil blend, 1 teaspoon white vinegar, and 3 cups water.”

These ways are just a few of multiples of many.

How I Use Thieves Cleaner:

When I’m not using my thieves cleaner for getting stains out of my tea cups, I like to use a formula as simple as a two capfuls in a spray bottle with some baking soda and then add the rest with water. My spray bottle is one the bigger side so I use two instead of one capful. The baking soda I just kinda eye on how much. I use this mixture for cleaning my bathroom, kitchen floors, and the kitchen counters.

Unfortunately for me since I am staying with my parents at this time, I haven’t been able to use it for my laundry or dishwasher. They don’t want the stuff in any of the machines. I’ve tried to convince them but it’s just not happening.

For cleaning my tea cups with stains in them I simply fill the cup up with hot water and add some straight up thieves cleaner. Depending out how bad the stain is, I either leave it in there for 10 minutes or I let it sit for 30 minutes. Sometimes I’ll pour it out use a napkin to take away what I can and repeat. Above are a couple pictures of my tea cup and my mom’s before adding the thieves cleaner.

I like to think if there’s foam, it’s working; at least when it comes to cleaning the cups. Since her cup is used a lot more often than mine I had to repeat her a few times before I was satisfied.

Another example:

For one of my cousins college graduation gifts I made him a cleaning basket for when he moved out of his parents house. When I talked to him last week he was telling me how him and his girlfriend cleaned someones house for some money and they used the thieves cleaner. He said it got off everything. The owners have kids who had apparently drawn on the walls and he said the drawings came right off.

Due to him having to get to work, we weren’t able to go into more details on formula he used mixing his thieves cleaner; but I feel like it was one of the simple recommended ones since he’s not the type to go look up a bunch of information. Unfortunately, he didn’t take pictures either and I did ask. He’s a guy, what do you expect. ?

There you go, another Young Living product and the wonderful ways to put it to use. Hope you enjoyed!
