We’ve made it to the middle of the week. Yesterday was quite a long day for me, my sis, and mom. We had to be at the airport at 4am. Anyways, I have post a couple times about some of my favorite ways to ‘decorate’ my lettering. Today, I wanted to show Three More Favorite Ways to ‘Decorate’

Three More Favorite Ways to ‘Decorate’

Drawing Within:

The first way I want to introduce is the ‘drawing within’ the letters. Here, since it’s fall time, I have created leaves, pumpkins, and spider webs within the letters. As you can see I have made the stems of the ‘d’ and ‘h’ into leaves while creating pumpkins in the ‘a’ and ‘d’ and ‘g’’s. Finally, I have also made spider webs in the ‘g.’

My second way is the way I wrote this quote and drew the dolphin. The quote here is from a book by Robert Wyland. I’ve always love his work whether it’s a painting, carving, or furniture. One day in my future home I will have a few of his pieces. ? You have probably seen this drawing before if you follow me on Instagram. I just love that I hand drew this dolphin, I am still amazed by it.

My third and final way to ‘decorate’ my lettering is by using my chalks. Here’s a video of how I did this particular lettering. I used my Versamark pen my mom and sis purchased from the Paper Source store in Dallas at the beginning of this past summer. Then I used my Pearlscent Chalks I have had for years I originally purchased at the Great American Scrapbook Convention one year.
