Winter Graduation

Happy Scrap It Friday!

Once again it’s Scrap It Friday!! I thought this day would never come, how about you? Did you or someone you know close to you have a graduation in December? For both of my bachelors, Psychology and Marine Science, I graduated in December. Though we don’t particular get cold weather here or in South Mississippi, it was a bit chilly for both events. Anyways, I thought having a graduation layout would be perfect. Let’s get started with Winter Graduation…

Finally, I added the larger pieces where my graduation pictures will eventually go (once I get them printed). I also added the numbers for the year. Something about this particular layout is that when you order it, you can pick which year you want. So, for this one I wanted it for my Marine Science bachelor graduation pictures which was in December 2012. They also included cutout for 2016, my guess is for a just in case?

PetSmartOn this layout there was also ribbon provided to add to the large pieces. For the left side I kept the ribbon the same as in the picture they provided (see the picture above under ‘Things Used’), however; for the right side of the layout for the large piece, I changed it up and put a piece of the knotted ribbon in two corners.

Don’t be afraid to do your own thing, just because it’s a page kit you bought it doesn’t mean you have to do it exactly like the instructions and/or picture shows.

And there you go, a quick page that could be easily finished at wherever you scrapbook. Need pictures printed but don’t have time or access to the right printer?
