Happy Oily Thursday!!
Who’s ready for the weekend?! One more day and we will be home free for it! Today I am continuing my series on the Young Living Starter Kit. This will be part 5, so if you have missed the previous parts be sure to go back and check them out. Let’s get started with “Young Living’s Starter Kit Part 5…”
Purification Essential Oil:
According to Young Living’s website, Purification essential oil “is made up of six essential oils for the ultimate weapon against odors. Citronella, Lavandin, Lemongrass, Rosemary, Myrtle, and Tea Tree work together to create a refreshing, bright scent that keeps you and your family happy and comfortable. ”
On Young Living’s website, they list some tips for using Purification Essential Oils, which includes:
- Add a few drops to laundry to give your wash a great-smelling boost.
- Place a few drops on cotton balls and stash them wherever necessary: the car, closets and drawers, air vents, or shoes.
- Use in the car with a USB Diffuser to eliminate lingering scents of fast food trips or the soccer carpool.
- Refresh linens with a spritz of Purification, diluted with distilled water.
- Create an on-the-go air freshener with a spray bottle, distilled water, and Purification. Keep it in your bag to freshen up offices, public restrooms, hotel rooms, and cars.
When we travel, I make sure to pack this one, just in case I need to diffuse it in the room while we are out and about shopping or whatever else. Even some of the best hotels we like to stay in, tend to have a chlorine pool smell to it.
Lemon Vitality™ Essential Oil:
Based on Young Living’s website, “Lemon (Citrus limon) Vitality can add a bright, dynamic flavor to many dishes. Its versatility in sweet and savory recipes is what makes this fruit a popular item in kitchens around the world. Use Young Living’s Lemon Vitality™ essential oil to add flavor to savory foods like fish and chicken or sweet foods like pastries and cakes.”
I LOVE Young Living’s Lemon oil! I HATE lemons in general! Anytime I order ice tea at a restaurant, I ask for it without a lemon. Even with the lemon on the side, I can taste the lemon in my tea and I cannot stand it. However, because Young Living’s Lemon oil is from the peel of the lemon, it has a slightly different taste with all the benefits still. Check out this post I did many months back to see a few ways I love to use my Lemon oil.
Just like the rest of the essential oils, I have previously talked about in the series on Young Living’s Starter Kit; these two essential oils are two of my all-time favorites. I use my Lemon oil so much, I have the tendency to order it every other month. Right now, I’ve got a good stash of it going.
There you go, information on two more of the essential oils you will receive in your Starter Kit. Hope you enjoyed!
