It’s Mother’s Day Weekend!! Hope everyone has a great Friday and Mother’s Day! I’ll be studying all weekend long since my test is only a week away now. BOO!! The double page layout I designed today I did it based on pictures of my mom, however, it can be used for anything. So, let’s get started with “You’re a Star Double Page….”
Things Used:
- “You’re a Star” Calligraphy Saying
- “Starfish Drawing”
- Cricut Explore
- Design Space
- Cricut Mat
- Mosaic Moments Grid Paper
- Various Cardstock
- Mosaic Moments Grid Planner
- Adhesive
Step #1:
Within Cricut’s Design Space I created everything I wanted to be cut out just like I did with my previous double page layouts I have created with inspiration from Mosaic Moments®. Though I could have had my saying and drawing cut out, to save time, I went ahead and just had them written and drawn out. Once everything was good to go, I had the Cricut do its thing from the iPad App. Click here for a quick video of my saying and drawing being created by Cricut.
Step #2:
With everything cut, I was ready to put all the pieces in their places on the grid paper.
Step #3:
First I put the purple pieces in their places.
Step #4:
Then I added the pink pieces to their spots. This included my “You’re a Star” saying.
Step #5:
Here, I put my two pieces of white cardstock in their places. I’m thinking some journaling for these two spots.
Step #6:
Finally, I put my blue pieces in their spots. This as you can see, included my five “starfish drawings.”
And there you go, “You’re a Star Double Page.” Really hope you enjoyed! Need pictures printed but don’t have time or access to the right printer? Visit Snapfish for all your picture needs.
